The team of Luis Avila Sanchez and Carolina Coordes made an outstanding leap at the 2024 European Swimming Championships in Belgrade. They rounded off their country’s efforts and secured the bronze medal with a total score of 352.30.

In 2024, she and Tom Waldsteiner won first place in the mixed synchronized platform diving event at the International German Summer Diving Championships with a score of 296.04 points.
At the 2025 European Championships, she and Pauline Pfeif won the bronze medal in the 10-meter synchronized platform diving event. The previous year at the European Championships in Belgrade, she had won silver in the 10-meter mixed event and bronze in the team event.
In July 2025, she participated in the FISA World University Games, where she and Pauline Pfeif scored 294.60 points in the 10-meter synchronized diving event, winning the silver medal. Shortly afterward, she competed in her first World Championships in Singapore. She and Pfeif finished 12th in the 10-meter synchronized diving event with a score of 253.68 points.
Carolina Coordes is a member of the Berlin Gymnastics and Sports Club, studies health sciences, and is a sports soldier in the German Armed Forces’ sports promotion group (as of 2025).
